Meditta
4db is providing a 'fundus van' for Meditta. The van will serve an area in south and mid-Limburg. Diabetic patients are at risk to damage to the interior of their eyes, which may go unnoticed. The fundus van has the facilities to take a photograph of the retina with a special camera. This photo is sent to a specialised medical practitioner who accesses whether there are abnormalities in the eye. If necessary the doctor will refer the patient to an eye specialist.
